Day 7

My first yummy of the day was JD and I relaxing around the campsite in the photo. It’s called ‘paal’ camping in the Netherlands and it’s free! We had a lovely morning sitting in the sun, and having a slow start to the day.

Sadly my yucky was quickly after we left the campsite and thunderstorms set in. The landscape was very uninspiring - farmland as far as you can see - and the rain was coming down hard. But we powered on and it blew over - one advantage of no hills anywhere!

My second yummy of the day was arriving in the early evening into Eindhoven. We walked round the streets and found a nice bar to drink some Dutch beer and chill out. After a 3 course meal (same price as 2 course and we wanted pudding!) we set off to our campsite just outside Eindhoven.

Another great day, and tomorrow we will be doing our third border crossing. Let’s see what Belgium has to offer.
