Matukituki Valley

This was not our intended destination. That was Treble Cone (to ski) but on arrival at the bottom gate we were told that all the car parks were full and that we would have to park there and take the shuttle bus up. We thought of the crowds and decided to take a drive further up the valley instead. We passed a couple of heliski operators who were doing a roaring trade. One extra of a closer look at Black Peak.
