Elmer

We popped into the book festival this afternoon while we were in town. The pop up bookshop there is just amazing, better facilities than many permanent book shops I've been in. My only gripe was the number of paper /cardboard single use cups they were going through.
This adult sized Elmer was wandering around the courtyard chatting to the mainly adult audience. Probably most of them knew who he was though.
We walked down to Stockbridge via Bon Papillon for lunch... It would have been rude to walk past and not go in wouldn't it. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
We carried on into Stockbridge and met up with Kathryn and Eilidh who had had a wonderful first day in P2, she enjoyed a mango sorbet ice cream a a treat while we grown ups had a coffee.
Dinner tonight was a delicious venison hotpot from the Stockbridge Market on Sunday. Definitely one we'll have again, and minimum effort for me too.
