D went up to the allotment with the new strimmer that had arrived yesterday (the old one had died - well, its battery actually). He picked a few more things, including this bloated courgette which I evidently had missed on Monday, and our first runner bean!

I made us a Salade Liegeoise for tea, recipe courtesy of that fine cook Ogatodomar.....now have to remember all the recipes for surplus courgettes.
