Minstrels And Monarchs

That's the name of the programme, not the band, they're the Edinburgh Renaissance Band and there are two more members just out of view on the right. 
Unfortunately, due to an accident on the by-pass, traffic had backed up and the alternative routes became completely jammed, with the result that all buses coming our way were severely delayed, with the result that we missed the first two pieces and heard most of the third while waiting in the foyer for a suitable moment to enter the auditorium. And, from conversation at the bus stop to come home, it was little better in the opposite direction.
That said, we enjoyed the variety of pieces and, as always, the wonderful variety of instruments, from brass to cow horn. The thumbnail is of Pat, who played the nakers in the last piece..
