Oak Apple

Or Oak Gall. made by the larvae of the Gall Wasp. Apparently these do not harm the trees. I was reading a bit about them as we have quite a few on our trees, and there are lots of different kinds of gall Wasps. I think the wasp must have left this one as you can see the holes.
