Rain Stops Play

I'm no better at deciding whether a wood pigeon is male or female than the next man (unless the next man happens to be David Attenborough).  But I'm guessing that's a female in the middle.  I say that because the other two were doing the whole 'head up and down' thing, and cooing at her.  She was having none of it.  Well, given it was pouring with rain (and this was taken through a wet kitchen window), who can blame her?  After trying it on for three or four minutes, the one on the left gave up, had a poo, and flew off.  I hope the other one's efforts were rewarded.
