An Autumn Leaf in August

Everything seems out of kilter right now - way beyond what I'm feeling in my body. All this wild weather in the summer. So many tumultuous happenings throughout the world. It was quite a surprise to spot this fantastically coloured horse chestnut leaf on the ground today. It seemed like an appropriate metaphor.

Walking was a bit easier again, bending still near nigh impossible. But I did manage to get my socks on.

Progress is progress.
