View across the Paddocks.

There are several paddocks along Histon Road, Cambridge, just before the flyover bridge. Although the gradient is not too steep, I like to walk with my bicycle and watch the horses. At mid-day, most were in their stables, and a few wandered about in their winter coats. In the spring, some are put through their paces over various jumps in preparation for the summer gymkhanas, but then the view is not too good as the leafy trees and hedgerows grow thick with foliage. The foreground is also home to many wildflowers which brighten up the dullness of a busy main road.
