About last night

On a summer evening, all 4 of us, and plenty of other hangers on went to Rochdale v Bolton in the League Cup [as was].

Lovely summers evening, great for all 4 of us to be out together, friendly atmosphere with all the usual suspects, and a cracking game of football.

Bolton's kids [they dont currently have a first team as are still stuck in admin] were trying to follow up their heroics on Saturday, and made a great start grabbing an early goal. Penalty levelled it so 1 each at half time.

Great news...the bottle bar in the main stand now sells craft beer, readers of this journal will appreciate this is potential icing on cake. A lovely IPA was enjoyed while we didn't win the Golden Gamble.

Second half, those pesky kids score again, 2-1 to Bolton, but wasnt to be as their little legs soon were tired, 2 each, then a 3rd, 4th and 5th. 5-2 in the end. SEVEN GOAL THRILLER.

Bolton's boys did themselves proud, Dale got some confidence, we all enjoyed the night.
