Rainy Day on't Canal

It's one of those batten down the hatches days - grey, wet and a bit on the cool side, so we lit the stove early on and it's warm and cosy now while the rain ratatat-tats on the roof and skylight.
I did a bit of sewing - with some help from Bella! She rolled over onto the pedal and sewed a whole seam! :-D - then I knitted a few rows of the bear's head. 
Frank took Bella walkies and then played his fiddle - shut in the bedroom so as not to upset her (she hates it and howls).
We've both had 40 winks and are now reading our books while Bella twitches in her sleep and snores quietly.
