Interesting

Christchurch CBD has many strange yet interesting places like this. Old, new, gap fillers, cherry colour, and the ubiquitous smooth, grey river stones.

It have been more interesting and surreal if I'd stopped to include the man riding a touring cycle on the track. But that was on my way back from buying my coffee supply for home and I thought I was going to be late for a meeting.

I kind of regret that now but I'm a conscientious type.

As with so much of central Christchurch, there is nobody about at 1.35pm on a work day. Foot traffic is very light.

Today's gratitude: For hearing a male sparrow in full song as I arrived at work, trying to attract a mate. Nature prevails.
