Just Dive In

The Explorers thought it would be a great idea to just jump in from the zip line - I stood back a bit, I dodn't want to be held responsible of they hurt themselves.

We were away for the weekend in Marchweil (near Wrexham) to celebrate the scout groups 85th birthday. The camp was a great success, thanks to the generosity of the landowners and all the other people involves. The Burns Supper i held in February was in aid of this camp too.
We had all sorts of activities, including the zip wire, archery, climbing wall, crate climbing, orienteering, crafts, sumos. We also had a great campfire (see tomorrows blip!).

At the camp fire I was presented with my Queens Scout Award, the highest award for a youth member in Scouting. Shame I didn't get any good photos of this!
