Friend or foe

Extremely irritating meeting first thing-goalposts moving on a particular project and it’s hard not to believe there are hidden agendas operating.
Busy day the rest of the day before very convivial dinner and discussion with an author going to book festival tomorrow hosted with his usual warm hospitality by B. Food interspersed with viewings of extremely rare books (from author annotated Harry Potter first edition to a portfolio of wonderful photographs taken by Hill and Adamson in the 1840s and a volume owned by Isaac Newton).
Lovely evening-definitely made up for earlier irritation! Mind you...more challenge tomorrow
