My tough guy!!
This photo doesn't exactly show you how happy and how much enjoyment my middle wildling was having, but he was having a fantastic time.
Siblings of children with additional support needs put up with so much. ( I'm struggling with the correct word's ) . His brother when he is anxious or near meltdown will always try and control the way that play flows. If they're playing with car's he will tell my middle child what way, where they go, how they should be played with. He doesn't do this on purpose but to him that is how they should be played with and so he expects others to play with them that way too.
My middle guy is such a tough wee cookie and most day's he will just put up with it and get on and play , even if we try and fix the situation etc he just goes with the flow. Yesterday not so much. He's not long turned 3 and most of yesterday was a tough day for all, so he would shout at the biggest back and he wouldn't let the situation be controlled....... Now this can be a good thing, but when your asd child is near meltdown mode it's like throwing a mentos in a bottle of coke and it exploding everywhere. It was a tough few hours. For some calmness and de-stressing I made homemade playdough and that kept the situation calm for a hour or so but we all needed out.
The above photo was taking at our soft play , the have a great outdoor space and such a amazing set up. ( I'll post a photo or 2 below ) .
This rope swing made him so happy and it was lovely seeing him smile and be carefree. We went with a friend, her son and the neighbours kid's. There is a massive age gap between them all but the older boy's are so great with the Wildlings and made this swing just totally awesome.
