Duttons for Buttons

Another small independent shop with an interesting name.

This is a small family firm, selling exactly what the name suggests as well as zips and haberdashery, has just three shops.

The Harrogate shop was founded in 1956 by the grandfather of the present owner. The other shops are in Ilkley and York.

I deliberately left the colour in this shot because the interior, with its displays of buttons, threads and ribbons, is exceptionally colourful.
