Octoprint

I found out today that it might be possible to control my 3D printer using a tool called OctoPrint. I installed it on a Raspberry Pi computer and connected the Pi to my 3D printer. Initially, I couldn’t get it to work but after some searching on the web I found the problem. I’m now doing a first print through OctoPrint and it appears to be going fine. Once I hook up a webcam to OctoPrint, I can monitor the progress of a print (which can take over one day!) both in numbers and visually. Great stuff!
