Bee products

I spent the morning continuing processing the honey. I have a 10 litre container full, equivalent to 30 jars, and that’s just the first batch! There is a lot of wax collection during the honey extraction and this has to be washed and melted to make a block to store. In the winter I would like to try making some candles with it!
Then we went to Whitbarrow for the butterflies, still some silver washed Fritillaries around.
Andrew had his final day at the outdoor shop in Ambleside and tomorrow we are going to Chippenham to look for a house for them! Exciting times.
