Trains castles and lots of food

Tinkers settled by 8pm last night
Wom woke at 6am unable to find hedgie, sadly he has no volume so woke munchie

We had breakfast with daddy then he headed to work. We pottered then headed to the ravenglass railway. A lovely trip along this and back. From here just up the road to muncaster castle. A super lunch - clear plates all round as well as exploring and playing.

We then headed to Whitehaven. Lego was on the agenda. Found a Morrison’s. Wom got some but no Lego friends. Onto Tesco - one small bag of Lego friends purchased.

Our plan had been to go to st bees on the wsy home but the tinkers asked to come home. Picnic in the hotel room and playing.

Tea in the restaurant. Tinkers shared and demolished scampi, followed by ice creams. Think the lady who owns the hotel was quite taken with Wom and the fact daddy had someone for company.

Both asleep just after 8pm

(In one day I’ve spent more on this holiday than we did the whole time we were in the IOW
