Pacific

A brew day today. It's winter and it feels like time for a nice dark beer to warm us up on those dark cold nights so I'm brewing a porter which will be (All) Black to celebrate England's win over New Zealand last month. An event which made conversations in New Zealand about rugby (which lets face it are difficult to avoid) so much easier and more fun.

This was the reward for the brewer. A small glass of Pacific which was brewed in October and is nearly all gone. Its an IPA in the American style. About 5.5% brewed using Pale, Munich and Crystal Malt, and three pacific west cost hops Citra, Chinook and Cascade.
