Today was yet another gloomy day and Alfie chose Dartmoor for the walk as it suited our mood. As it was, we almost had the moor to ourselves - even Willie's ice cream van was absent from the car park.
In the background on the left is Vixen Tor, the only privately owned Tor on Dartmoor and the subject of much anger and recrimination between the landowner and walkers. It does looks ridiculous fenced off with barbed wire like an animal in a zoo. It is the subject of much legend and has been mentioned in many literary works including, most famously, The Hound of the Baskervilles. It is a shame that it cannot be accessed.
I'm loving this ipad the Christmas fairies brought. It is wonderfully immediate to plug the camera in and upload to Blipfoto straight away within minutes. Can anyone recommend any editing apps to use?
Back to work tomorrow, I expect the sun will be shining relentlessly.
