One of the nice things about holidays is that we get time to play games. Youngest Son likes Monopoly best of all, his plan being to get Park Lane and Mayfair and bankrupt his poor mother. Sometimes he will be persuaded to play chess instead. We have a lovely set which is a replica of the Lewis set in the British Museum. Here is my main man, looking determined to defend his king.
