Our Boone

We had to make the heart wrenching decision to put Boone down in December- the day after Christmas. It was a horrible decision that had to be made fast because of pain and complications. The Vet said that even if the surgery was successful (not high odds), Boone would have a hard recovery and not be healthy afterward.
It broke our hearts.

My wonderful cousin did this painting of Boone as a surprise gift to us - her kindness touched us greatly and her talent humbles us. The photo that she used is the extra.
