Trip down memory lane!

The weather has been bright and breezy, rather unexpectedly really! The perfect day for a stroll up around Shipley Glen and the surrounding moors. It's been years and years, and years...and more...since I had been up to this area. We used to often visit the tramway, fairground, dodgems and wildlife centre as young children. We adored a ride on the tram! It wasn't running today but it is still in operation, as is the wildlife centre. The fairground has long disappeared and is now the site of new houses! Happy memories though. :-)

The heather was a gorgeous purple colour on the tops and it really was a beautiful walking route. :-)
