MM - Melange

This bird has character - the way she strutted down the lane and looked at me as if she thought I shouldn't be there was a little bit intimidating.  However, when the sun shone on her briefly her feathers were revealed to be the most beautiful melange of colours;  russets, golds, browns and creams.  Not only a bird with personality but a beauty too  -   although it being mono Monday you'll have to take my word for it. :-)
