St James' Church, Wollaston. Stourbridge.

This is the view of the clock tower.

The Parish Church of St. James at Wollaston, constructed in 1860, is built from 'blue' bricks, with light stone detailing around windows, doors and on the tower. The open roofs are made of pitch pine covered with tiles. The church is made up of a chancel with a north vestry, and south organ chamber, a south porch and a north-west tower, and there is a gallery at the west end of the nave. The church, along with the school and masters house was a gift of William Orme Foster, the Stourbridge Ironmaster, who also paid for the building of the vicarage.
