Mélange d’ émotions

This morning early Ro took our little family to Manchester airport for a flight to SF. The flight was delayed from the very beginning. Ro getting worried. I was cleaning the utility room and prepared the windowsill for Ro to paint. He did the undercoat/primer. Later he did the topcoat. I still have to clean the floor!

We prepared the two new planters by the front door. Then I became aware that Ro was just sitting there looking really worried! The plane was still over the UK with a most peculiar flight path as you can see from the screen shot. We watched as it came back towards Manchester and landed. The cockpit view showed the plane veering all over the place! But it stopped at the very end of a runway!

A few minutes later our son finally answered Ro’s worried query: Problems?

The plane’s steering had failed and they were stuck, but everyone fine! We were so relieved! We were still watching on our app: Flightradar24. The plane was stationary for ages then started moving and a couple of minutes later stopped!

We got the message that the truck towing the plane had broken down! That made us laugh!!

They are safe and in a hotel for the night. Hoping to fly tomorrow!
