Innovation?

Suddenly, a new building for the University of Strathclyde.

This building will support, it says, 'Technology and Innovation'. How ironic, when this university has, in the last few years, the reign of the current Principal, deleted some of its most innovative courses, notably the Bachelor of Applied Music course, the darling of the previous Principal .

Although I attend courses at the nearby Centre for Lifelong Learning, I am disenchanted with Strathclyde and pleased to see quite a different emphasis and tenor at my own alma mater, The University of Glasgow, where looking to the future does not require the abandonment of the arts and social sciences.
