Bargee Kingfisher

I went for a walk along the Shropshire Union Canal at Nantwich today with the intention of photographing another bridge. As I walked along I saw a boat coming under the bridge ahead and (fortunately) changed to my zoom lens. While I was lining up my shot I caught a glimpse of a kingfisher flying past and saw it land on a moored boot a couple of hundred yards behind me. I was able to retrace my steps and managed a single shot before it flew off. I was still some distance away when I took this picture but I have never seen a kingfisher like this before.
