survey

Victor had a very detailed survey of the garden this morning. With all the rain we've had he hasn't had much chance to check out everything like he normally does. But today it was nice and dry and rather mild so I was outside with him for ages whilst he looked at the new shoots on the blackcurrants, found out the water butts were full to the brim, noticed that I'd taken out the old annuals from last summer, found a ball he'd lost which was now visible because the plants had died down, played with his boat in a bucket, and walked up and down the lawn about 20 times with a kettle of water to fill up his bowl.
