One week at Dogcorner Cottage

We brought Merry home from Connecticut a week ago today. Her day by day adjustment to our house has been amazing and so good for our broken hearts.

The wooden painting of our house was a very special wedding gift from our friends Nancy and Joseph. Joseph, who is a skilled carpenter by trade, did the layers of wood giving a 3-D effect to the house and grounds. Nancy, an accomplished artist, completed it with the amazing and whimsical painting of the house and surroundings. If you look closely you will see some of our favorite wildlife and Max and Raspberry in the upstairs windows. It is a  gift to cherish.

This day came in dry and sunny, a beautiful day without high humidity for once.

All hand sore from yard work, but we treated ourselves to lobster rolls after or toils!
