Cicada
Back blips continue! Number thirteen of an expanding series of absences.
It was probably a Tiny Tuesday when I took this shot of a cicada on a post. The noise from them is constant to the point you stop noticing it until it stops. Bit like tinnitus...
He was perched on a pole supporting new saplings, planted along the Canal du Midi where the Plane Trees have fallen to disease. I think they're replanting with a type of Poplar.
It caused me to think about what trees we will have into the future as climate change effects our home stock.
