Presentation

Today Area 4 President of the Royal Naval Association, Shipmate David White, in front of Shipmates of the Falmouth, St Austell and Helston Branches, presented the Area Netherlands Plate to the Mayor Of Falmouth, Shipmate Steve Eva also a member of the Falmouth Branch.
The Netherlands Plates were presented, one to each RNA Area, in 1994 to commemorate the liberation of the Netherlands. Following the closure of the Naval Museum in Devonport a suitable home has been sought for the plate and Falmouth with its various connections to the liberation of Netherlands was chosen.
