Honeysuckle

This is my favourite honeysuckle. We have 3 different plants around the garden but this is my favourite. It is late flowering when other summer flowers are finished, the pink stems and flowers are pretty, but the scent is the best thing.....just wonderful.

Today we met our new neighbours. They were working in the front garden and called us over the hedge as we were getting ready to go to Cambridge. I called back and Jack and I went round to say a proper hello and welcome! We chatted to the couple and the lady's father for 10 mins and met their lovely dog, called Ralph! We will meet their teenage daughters when they move in completely at the end of the month.

Really pleased they seem friendly and with a nice sense of humour.
