My first attempt

About 30 years ago I inherited a cheesecake cookbook from my Aunty Pam. I have been meaning to use it. You know the story....

Anyway when I heard Oscar, my 7 year old grandson, had made a cheesecake from scratch I thought I should have a go too. ...the kids cook something every week and do some amazing dishes. They have help from their parents. My kids learnt to cook because they didn’t get help from their parents. I always preferred to be outside.

This was for Bobs birthday yesterday but we were given a delicious French custard tart so weren’t hungry enough to cut it on the day. It was yummy for our morning tea and there is plenty left over.

Off to the city tomorrow.
