Surprised, Greenock

Chummed my wee sister through to Greenock to see the NTS touring production, Red Dust Rd. Although it will be in both Edinburgh and Inverness, wee sis will be abroad and this was her only chance to catch it.

Unfortunately, it was running over just enough for us to have to leave early to be sure of making it back to Glasgow for the last train home to Edinburgh.

Did i say i was surprised? Not having been on this line before, and never to Greenock, i hadn't seen the view. Or noticed it from the ferry to Rothesay in the early 60s.
