Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Bumbling around

I went down to North Berwick this morning for a Cursillo meeting and as I was going to the seaside I decided to dress for the occasion! I left my swimsuit at home but took my straw hat, sun glasses and sunflower earrings much to everybody's amusement. I had the last laugh though as if stayed sunny all the time I was there.
Joyce and I had a wander around the shops afterwards then headed home. On the way back we stopped at the Red House nursery by Longniddry which I have wanted to do for a while. There wasn't a great selection of plants - presumably the end of the season , but the insect life was wonderful. Various white butterflies, peacocks and painted ladies in abundance. There were also lots of bees.
This evening we went out to a show at the assembly rooms powder room then to Gusto to eat. A good end to the day. Prodigious rain again this evening.
12519 steps, just made it before midnight.
