Surprised...

when the Black Throated diver pair popped up on the loch right next to where I was walking.! They didn't seem to mind me snapping away. Usually, I feel sorry for them when twitchers start chasing them around. Not one twitcher to be seen today! Watched them feeding and preening on a very calm loch for about twenty minutes. Lovely sight and totally unexpected.
