Treasury!

Today we visited the Dutch Hermitage again. After 10 years of exhibitions there's a jubilee one that shows a lot of treasures from the Russian Hermitage. Often displayed in a duo set. Like this ancient classic statue along a sculpture from a later age. The classic statues were dug up and then missing arms and legs. Which made later artists realise there is beauty in incomplete statues as well. So then they purposely sculpted incomplete statues.

Not the most interesting of exhibitions we saw here, but it does have some beautiful items on display.
