Nunnington Hall stop off

 I've been promising to take Mum to meet up with her friend who lives on the East coast for a while so we decided to take a couple of days to make the journey worth while. We broke the journey at Nunnington Hall (I'm definitely getting my value for money out of the National Trust this year). We had a lovely lunch and then a walk around the gardens which were full of butterflies and some beautiful roses (see extra). Later we headed to our hotel in Hunmanby and had a stroll around the village before our evening meal. I worry about the hotel trade the owner said because the weather forecasters keep saying it is going to be heavy rain people are staying at home. We were the only people who ate dinner in the hotel that night.
