Slow, and not very steady!

At the beginning of the month BT got in touch and told us that, although they could not offer us very high speeds on their broadband package, it would mean that we could use BTfon when out and about.  Also our telephone line rental and calls would be cheaper than at present; having broadband and phone being less expensive than just having the phone with BT. So we signed up.
Today our new BT hub was activated. This is the email from BT:

The maximum download and upload speeds you could get are 3Mbps and 1Mbps.

The minimum upload speed you should get is 100Kbps.

Luckily we have another supplier for our broadband which although it is much more expensive than BT, is twenty times faster.  Which is a Good Thing when one is a blipper!
We live in a lovely place, slightly off the beaten track, where we might not get cheap broadband, but we do get surprise visitors.  Today we had Lady Findhorn and her daughter Jane!   You'll be happy to hear that by the time they got here, Lady F had recovered slightly!!
