RIP Gran

My Gran recently passed away, it is sad but she was a very good age well into her 90s and had a good and full life.  More recently she had suffered with dementia and was in a care home, no longer quite herself and not able to enjoy life as she once had. 

Her funeral is being arranged and I offered a photo I had of her at our wedding.  She had no idea that the disposable camera had cheeky photos on it until someone pointed it out, it was very funny at the time and typical of my gran!

I am going to write a poem about her with words that describe the things I remember about her and if there is an opportunity at the funeral I will read it out but I understand others also want to do readings so we will see what happens.
