New Year

My girl woke up feeling 100% better. I decided it would be best for her to lay low to ensure a full recovery for her return to school the next day. So...instead of joining friends for a fun first day of the year, we stayed home together.

The weather was stunning. While outside feeding our bunnies, I noticed a mug full of water on the porch that had a frozen disk of ice on top. I loved how it looked. I placed it on a tree twig, and snapped away. I love how it almost looks like a star design. For some reason it just felt like a sign of a fresh new year.
