Nastia's Slow Little Days

Brighten the Corners

My very good friend Will came through town again, and we went back to our favorite haunt, the local Turkish place. During dinner, Will made a joke that had me laughing for almost a minute. I told him how I'd finally gone to Carnegie Hall recently. He asked how I got there. I looked at him incredulously, and mumbled, "Well, a train and a train," implying, "How else?" to which he smirked and asked, "Practice, practice, practice?" A great day, indeed.

I am very excited to return to Blipfoto two whole years after starting on this adventure. I hope to fill in with lots of back-blips for all the photos I have taken in between while attempting the "Mostly 365" each year. Hello again, Blip world!

Title borrowed from Pavement (who borrowed it from Ella Fitzgerald), to which Will and I have recently started listening because of our shared love of The National, who were influenced by them.
