Path through the old Taita cemetery

Old graves dating back to the 1800s, and a war memorial, it's an interesting place to wander. On steep slopes, the paths are very uneven, and the old graves have moved around, with time and land movement.

So much personal history, and NZ history, but now a calm and peaceful place, filled with birdsong and flowers.
