Charleston House

The Bloomsbury Group (as they were known) lived and met here in East Sussex by the South Downs.
A friend and I visited this fascinating place which had a rather exciting history and where Vanessa Bell (among others) lived an interesting life (the sister of Virginia Woolfe).
The gardens are beautiful and the art so interesting.
