Which Way Is Out?

Hazel had his annual inspection at the Vet's today. He'd much rather have been in the sunshine that broke through just as we shoved gently encouraged him into his travelling box. but he's sound in wind and limb (and heart) apparently.

Not sure I should mention this but we met Poppy, the spaniel that received a nasty bite from an adder, with the result that her left back leg was amputated. She is a lovely friendly girl and seems to be recovering well, walking on her three legs as though it was always thus. I wish her and her owners a happy future.
