Autumn

Too early to call it that but weather and flowers are hinting at what is to come.  Here is Colchicum autumnale, it may well be showing it's face in it's natural habitats too ... like the meadows in the Alps.   Blustery here today, much stronger winds forecast tomorrow.  Hold onto your hats!

Jacinta set off to North Wales for an eight day silent retreat so I have a spell home alone, an unfamiliar set-up.  The plan is to sort the bulb collection out, a long and anti-social job.  Lot of Radio 4 ..... and hopefully I'll make time to see a few friends along the way too.
