Castelo Rodrigo...

...was, for centuries, violently disputed territory between Portugal and Spain.

The hilltop village was the focus of our tour this morning. It was good to have a fresher feel to the weather, sunshine and blue skies.

Then it was  a return to the ship for about 8 hours sailing back down the river (still in progress).

With the boat full of passengers for long periods, like yesterday, the wi-fi is stretched to the limit - hence my lack of commenting. I will catch up when I can.
