Homeward Bound

In view of the predicted storms we decided to set off home mid morning instead of this evening as we had planned.
There had been heavy rain overnight but the drive home was in glorious sunshine.
Came home through Flintshire instead the dreaded A55 and stopped at the Pendleton Heritage Centre for lunch.
Can really recommend the home made food there for its quality and very reasonable prices.
Getting home early meant l could go watch Kitty dance at the end of her week at dance summer school.
Got a lift home from Rebecca and saw her cry with laughter with my recount of Wednesdays boat ride when we travelled at 65 mph and did donuts around lighthouses etc.
She knows what a wet lettuce l am :-))
Now home and watched the torrential rain which l am so glad we missed having to drive in.
